Reminder - The crow who posted this thread has made it a (No Spoilers) thread. This scope covers NO story elements of ASOIAF or "Game of Thrones" per Rule 3.3.Any discussion of the story of the books or the show must use an appropriate spoiler tag such as (Spoilers Main) or (Spoilers Published).
Blood of the Dragon is a novella based on Dany chapters from the book, which didn't get released before the books. Fire and Blood is his new book, set before the ASOIAF series, but not released before them. Read in publication order. Or all the books in the ASOIAF series then all other book in the world in publication order. The main series (which you should read first) is A Game of Thrones - A Clash of Kings - A Storm of Swords - A Feast for Crows - A Dance With Dragons. The prequels which are better once you have some understanding of the book lore from reading the main series would be Fire & Blood then The Tales of Dunk and Egg. 43. r/gameofthrones. Robert was crazed, beat his hands bloody on the wall.. All the things men do to show you how much they care.”. The CGI is outdated in LOTR, but Game of Thones has the benefit of coming out a decade after the LOTR movies and does not utilize GGI as much as LOTR does. In fact, GoT doesn't even show a major battle until the end of Season 2. Also GoT seems to waste a lot of screentime on needless sex scenes. I'm aware that this exists in the books as well.

Look at the North there you will find a Direwolf the sigil of the Starks. Look at the South just under the red place with King's Landing is the land of the three Baratheon brothers (Robert, Stannis, Renly) which share the Deer as banner. Look at the West and face the Lion, Hear him roar and know this is the symbol of the Lannisters of Casterly

Game of Thrones tells the story of the great houses of the fictional kingdom of Westeros, and the battle for control of the Iron Throne (popularly called the game of thrones). The game isn't only played on the battlefield though. A sharp tongue and a sharper wit get you farther in this world than a blade. ZU5XF.
