I have 2000 focus wagon with 90 K miles zetec engine. It was running ok but sometimes it looked like out of gas when I was trying to accelerate. 8 posts · Joined 2014. #11 · Feb 23, 2014 (Edited) 2008 Focus FE 2.0 Engine. I just changed my original spark plugs with 132,000 miles on them and they gapped and looked just fine. They were an iridium plug ITR 5F13. I replaced them with the Motorcraft SP-448 (AGSF-32Y-PC) that appeared to be identical.
so half that is too much for your focus job. place plug in spark plug socket (and possible extension) - lower into hole - turn by HAND to thread in cleanly - it should thread in easily - DO NOT cross thread. once snug - apply socket wrench to socket - tighten until firmed up - then go about 1/16 of a turn or just under 30 degrees.
